Caffeine Hackers is founded by British barista duo Amber and Miles. Between them we have over fifteen years of experience working within the speciality coffee industry. 

Amber is qualified in SCA Barista Skills: Intermediate, first discovering her love of speciality coffee whilst travelling in Australia and fell in love with the skill whilst in Melbourne, Victoria. She first learnt how to make coffee from a barista skills basics course with a local barista school during this time and has since taught many a budding barista, whilst managing specialty coffee shops in the UK. She is committed to good practical skills and sharing the understanding of the science behind the brewing process. 

Miles began making coffee when he became the owner of his own cafe in 2014. He was passionate about serving good quality produce to his customers, coffee included! He’s gone from strength to strength working with some fantastic baristas, has a great depth of understanding of the technical side of the coffee industry and knows all about coffee growth regions, beans flavour profiles and brewing equipment.  

Having so much industry knowledge we found that customers would always have questions about the coffees we were serving, the coffee menus we offered and issues they were experiencing whilst making their own at home. 

We decided that we’d really like to provide some in-depth knowledge to help people with their barista troubles and queries, without balancing a tray of lattes in one hand and a bacon sandwich in the other, so we hope you enjoy!
